The Medical Rehabilitation Therapist Registration Board of Nigeria (MRTB) is supporting Occupational Therapists in Nigeria to commemorate the 2024 World Occupational Therapy Day with the Theme: Occupation Therapy for All and Sub-theme: *Achieving 'the ultimate goal' through the reawakened consciousness of our unique identify
which is being celebrated on October 27th annually, a day set aside to celebrate the contributions of Occupational Therapists to health and wellbeing of all ages globally, reflecting the important role of Occupational Therapists in facilitating the ability of individuals, communities and populations to participate in their daily life activities. The theme resonates with the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goal 3 and we deem it a clarion call to action on the WHO Rehabilitation 2030 agenda which MRTB is committed to.
The virtual event is scheduled to hold on October 27th 2024 at 6:30 p.m.WAT.
It is to be hosted by an Occupational Therapist and Academic, Tayo Eleyinde.
