The board (MRTB) created this department - “Inspectorate department” whose vision is to thoroughly, adequately, aggressively, methodically, intelligently police the practice of Medical Rehabilitation Therapy professions in Nigeria in a civilized manner with the aim of crushing illegal practice at all levels, identifying quacks, improving the health and socio-economic status of the citizenry boosting the good corporate image of the board.

1. Providing a specialist leadership role for the surveillance programme.
2. Regulating and sanitizing the practice of Medical Rehabilitation Therapy profession.
