Quackery Control

Quackery is defined as an illegal practice of Medical Rehabilitation Therapy by an unqualified and non-registered person. It is one of the most dreaded and monumental challenges bedeviling nearly all professions that are lucrative.
The board (MRTB) created this department- “Inspectorate department” whose vision is to thoroughly, adequately, aggressively, methodically, intelligently police the practice of Medical Rehabilitation Therapy professions in Nigeria in a civilized manner with the aim of crushing illegal practice at all levels, identifying quacks, improving the health and socio-economic status of the citizenry boosting the good corporate image of the board.

1. Providing specialist leadership role for the surveillance programme
2. Regulating and sanitizing the practice of Medical Rehabilitation Therapy profession
